Onboarding Specialist
Prudential's Structured Settlements Business is seeking an Onboarding Specialist. The Onboarding Specialist, as a member of the New Business Team, will report to the Manager, Onboarding and Administration. This role will be responsible for service, administrative support, and operational activities related to onboarding Structured Settlement cases. The role will work closely with the Relationship Management and Advanced Underwriting teams, as well as other internal and external partners. They will respond to inquiries, build relationships with external brokers and case managers through timely email and phone responses, and execute on service delivery targets.
The position is a hybrid role based in Newark, NJ. Primary responsibilities include :
- Establishing new sales in our New Business System
- Processing broker commission payments
- Monitoring and managing assigned pending cases and upcoming first payments
- Performing good order review of required forms and documents
- Recommending service and workflow improvements
- Maintaining department Service Level Agreements, department production, and quality standards
- Providing support and assistance to other internal teams as needed

Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 2 years of relevant business / professional experienceCustomer-focused attitude including the understanding of the importance of maintaining our customer basePossess excellent attention to detailAbility to work as part of a team, but also requires the ability to work independently and provide timely resultsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management skills with the ability to adjust priorities to meet changing business needsProficient with Microsoft Office- (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote)Based on work volumes and available resources, after-hours coverage may be requiredIt would be a plus if you have : Structured Settlements knowledge considered a strong plus.
Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $53,700.00 to $83,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
