The CDL / Yard Driver is responsible for operating tractors to switch empty and full trailers to and from the shipping dock and yard trailer parking area.

Shift : Friday / Saturday / Sunday, 5am - 5pm

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Receives shipping schedule for ensuing shift and operates truck tractor to move filled trailers to yard parking area as designated
• Monitors and ensures that safety chocks are in place during loading process and removed for return to parking area
• Places and removes dock boards as required
• Cleans out trailers after placement at dock for loading
• Other duties as assigned
• Operate material handling equipment
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
• Maintain a level of professionalism at all times
