Fundraising And Donor Relations
This position is responsible for :
Planning, developing, implementing, administering, evaluating, and monitoring an aggressive Direct Fund-Raising Program targeting an assigned geographical area under the direction of an Officer(s) in command.
Key Responsibilities :
Developing and securing funding to reach / surpass fund-raising goals through a variety of financial development vehicles including :
Working directly and independently with local officers, their boards and committees to develop local promotional plans; planning and coordinating all public relations activities and ensuring compliance with the designated budget; conferring directly with Divisional Headquarters administration and boards as well as with Territorial Headquarters
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory on a frequent basis to work with divisional and local unit financial development staff, their donors, and professionals of their communities. Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to understand and manage budgets and financial matters. Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures and physical discomforts associated with traveling by a vehicle and / or airplane
Employee Benefits :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field with specialized training in Fund Raising Management highly desirable and three to five years of progressively responsible experience in fund-raising and fund-raising management. Licenses and Certifications : Valid State Driver's license. Approved background check required.
