Part time day shift with weekend rotation- 7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm.
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for the care of patients as well as clerical and unit maintenance duties. The Monitor Tech is responsible for the set-up, record keeping, and monitoring of telemetry patients.
Education and Formal Training : High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of an approved Nurses Aide I course in North Carolina. Current North Carolina Aide registry listing verified through the N.C. Division of Facility Services or Current North Carolina Nurses Aide registry listing verified through the N.C. Division of Facility Services and five years of previous full time experience working as a CNA. New employees will be required to have BLS certification (CPR) at new hire or obtain within 30 days of hire date.
Work Experience : Prior experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required : Some knowledge of nursing measures used to provide personal hygiene and comfort; procedures and techniques in giving simple treatment in providing bedside nursing care. Some ability to physically, mentally, and emotional perform activities involved in this
Required flexibility in working different areas, different shifts, week-ends and holidays and in adverse weather conditions.
