Pay Range

$100,000.00 / hr – $130,000.00 / hr

Responsibilities

• Provide professional structural engineering and construction management support, serving as general engineer with technical leadership.
• Act as subject matter expert on national standards for structural designs, foundation analysis for dams and lock structures, bridges, roads.
• Review as-built drawings and respond to RFI requests.
• Perform quality assurance inspections, structural fabrication inspections, documentation review, general construction management from structural perspective.
• Review construction lift plans involving cranes and rigging.
• Experience with reviewing contractor claims.
• Provide safety oversight, documentation, direct corrective actions for worker and public safety.
• Assist in interpreting and enforcing contractual provisions regarding contractor structural engineering requirements, deliverables; document progress reports.
• Recommend authorization of progress payments based on observed contract progress.
