Pay Rate : $25–$27 / hr

Shift Details :

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Overtime : Some potential OT required

Job Summary :

The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems and equipment within multi-tenant commercial office buildings (3–5 stories) . This client-facing position requires strong customer service, communication, and technical troubleshooting skills to support facility operations and ensure safe, efficient environments for all occupants.

Key Responsibilities :

Respond promptly to tenant work order requests including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting issues.

Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Inspect, diagnose, and repair facility systems and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Support installation and modification of building systems and equipment.

Conduct routine inspections for compliance with safety codes and regulations.

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and complete work orders using available systems.

Partner with team members to support energy management initiatives and efficient system operations.

Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants and stakeholders.

Follow safety procedures and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.

Required Experience :

3–5 years of related maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience.

Experience working in commercial or multi-tenant office environments.

Proven troubleshooting ability with mechanical and electrical systems.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Experience :

High-level HVAC experience or mechanical aptitude.

Experience handling emergency maintenance or facility issues.

Trade school or advanced technical training.

Required Skills :

Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing troubleshooting

Preventive maintenance and repair

Strong communication and tenant service

Preferred Skills :

HVAC system diagnostics and service

OSHA 10 / 30 or Universal EPA certification

Adaptability in dynamic work environments

Additional Skills :

Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)

Ability to follow procedures, document work, and lift up to 50 lbs

Organization and attention to detail in field documentation

Education :

Required : High School Diploma or GED

Preferred : Trade school certification or equivalent experience
