Field Service Technician - Low Voltage Security (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

Responsibilities & Expectations

• Diagnose and repair physical security systems at the customer location in an efficient and timely manner with the objective of restoring systems to full functionality
• Perform preventative maintenance as required by service and maintenance contract
• Troubleshoot issues remotely utilizing provided software and an internet connection
• Travel to customer locations throughout Florida territory on a continuous day to day basis
• Available to be on-call for emergency service rotation at least 2 weeks a month
• Work independently to research and resolve issues with equipment
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned and assist with other technical support issues, as needed
• Handle other matters and duties necessitated by operations in his / her area and / or assigned by Service Coordinator or Manager
• Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team. Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to establish priorities and proceed with objectives with little supervision
