Job Overview :
As the Community Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, with a strong emphasis on accountability and delivering legendary services to residents and stakeholders. This role also includes floating responsibilities, requiring you to temporarily manage or support additional properties within the portfolio as business needs arise.
Because of the diverse communities we serve, this position also requires bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with residents, team members, and stakeholders.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of property maintenance, resident satisfaction, and financial performance. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, adaptability, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to foster a culture of accountability and legendary service within the property management team.
Essential Functions : Include but are not limited to
1. Property Operations
- Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective property management.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance needs, safety hazards, and overall property condition.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life of property assets and reduce maintenance costs.
2. Tenant Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.Foster positive relationships with tenants by providing exceptional customer service and promptly resolving issues or disputes.Implement resident retention programs and initiatives to enhance tenant satisfaction and minimize turnover.Provide bilingual communication (English / Spanish) for residents to ensure understanding of lease terms, community policies, and resident services.3. Financial Management
Develop and manage property budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and performance targets.Monitor rent collection, lease renewals, and delinquencies, taking proactive measures to minimize arrears and maximize revenue.Review financial reports and analyze variances to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.4. Accountability
Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures for property management staff, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members to support their professional development and growth.Implement systems and processes to track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) related to property operations, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.5. Legendary Services
Lead by example in delivering legendary services to residents, property owners, and other stakeholders.Identify opportunities to enhance the resident experience and differentiate the property through exceptional service delivery.Empower property management staff to go above and beyond in meeting resident needs and exceeding expectations.Ensure that Spanish-speaking residents receive the same high-quality service and communication as English-speaking residents.Qualifications :
Proven experience in property management, preferably in multifamily housing.Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesBilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.Ability to provide bilingual support to tenants, staff, and stakeholders.Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Flexibility to travel between multiple properties as needed for floating assignments.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.Benefits and Perks :
