job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonitor and maintain security systems, including CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems. Inspect and patrol premises regularly. Investigate security breaches and other suspicious activities. Prepare incident reports and other documentation. Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate assistance. Monitor the security of personnel, property, and assets. Conduct safety drills and train personnel on safety protocols. Communicate with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under stressful conditions. Minimum of a high school education or equivalent College degree, preferred. Ohio Guard Card preferred but not required Prior experience in security, law enforcement or customer service. A high level of professionalism focusing on internal and external guest service. Excellent communication both verbally and nonverbally. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to work up to 10 hours a day and rotating shifts Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday Ability to stand for extended periods of time Extended computer usage Comfortable being under constant video surveillance Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise. Summary of the Role :
- Security Team members support the retail store's management team in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
The responsibilities for this position include patrolling the premises, monitoring property access, investigating suspicious behavior, and enforcing company policies to protect against unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other threats. They will be responsible for answering patient inquiries and providing information regarding the company’s products and policies, establishing relationships with prospective customers, and maintaining the safe, positive cannabis shopping experience for our staff and customers.
