ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Lonetree, Colorado.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • 20-bed NICU unit with average daily census of 5-8 patients

    • \n

  • Patient ratios based on acuity : 3 feeder / grower (level 2), 1-2 intermediate (level 3), 1 acute (level 4)

    • \n

  • Minimum 2 staff required with 0 babies, night shift typically includes charge nurse and 2 RNs

    • \n

  • Must have 1 year NICU experience required

    • \n

  • Current NRP certification required

    • \n

  • CPN and Meditech experience preferred

    • \n

  • Work with equipment including Omnibeds, bedside physiologic monitors, and GE ventilators

    • \n

  • Perform typical NICU procedures : assist with intubation and central line placement, IVs, lab draws, gavage feedings, and phototherapy

    • \n

  • EMR systems : CPN and Meditech

    • \n

  • Positive attitude and teamwork-oriented personality required

    • \n

  • Located on 2nd floor of main hospital building
