About the Role :

B&G Mufflers Inc in Grapevine, TX is seeking a General Automotive Service Technician and Exhaust System Technician to join our team. We are a leading provider of automotive exhaust system services and are looking for a skilled technician to help us continue providing top-notch service to our customers.

Responsibilities :

  • Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
  • Diagnosing and repairing exhaust system issues, including muffler and catalytic converter replacements
  • Conducting vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and ensure safety and compliance
  • Using diagnostic tools to identify and address mechanical and electrical problems
  • Communicating with customers to explain necessary repairs and provide excellent customer service

    • Requirements :

  • 2+ years of experience as an automotive service technician or exhaust system technician
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • ASE certification preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Base pay dependent upon qualifications, with additional pay based upon percentage of total sales and employee performance
