Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring an OH or compact RN license and willingness to float to multiple units.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with potential floating to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and med-surg units
  • Night shift schedule consisting of four 12-hour shifts per week, 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • Assignment spans the winter holiday season and requires availability through the New Year
  • Epic EMR experience required and utilized
  • No local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius
  • Required to float to other critical care and acute care units as needed per assignment
  • Must comply with established policy regarding lateness and attendance
  • Holiday coverage through the New Year is mandatory
  • Consideration for weekend block scheduling is available if noted at time of application
  • First time travelers are generally required to have significant relevant experience

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active OH or compact RN license in hand required for consideration
  • Two years of PICU nursing experience highly preferred
  • Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • First time travelers considered on a case by case basis, generally with over three years of experience and Level 1 Trauma background
  • Must not have worked as a permanent staff RN for the facility within the previous two years
