Specific Responsibilities
Leadership
Supervise all project personnelTake responsibility for productivity safety, and safety auditsPerform job walks to ensure : Employees are wearing Personal Protective Equipment and toolsEmployees are working safely and productivelyTools and material are located in close proximity to work performedThe installation is up to standardTake ultimate responsibility for the billings, understanding the job well enough to front end bill itConstantly train the project manager’s replacement. Train and coach the field people and be supportive, identifying future leaders of the companyActive in improving the overall safety culture of the companyProcess Improvement
Engage and help to develop new Encore standards and processes and hold others accountable to themParticipate in Project Manager meetingsHelp to develop phase codes for the projectRisk Management
Proficient in developing budgets and forecastingAdequate understanding of the project schedule to provide input to your Superintendent on accurate man loadingAbility to write commodity purchase orders from the installation estimateManage subcontractors and vendors at financial levelProficient in estimating change orders on a projectAssist project team with labor cost codes for the projectEnsure all parties to the job, at all levels of the job, apply their time into the proper phase code for time keepingCreate change estimates to any changes to the projectPerform a detailed installation estimate on lighting, gear, special systems, and committed material to verify quantities from the estimate developed through project developmentProficiency with material procurement processes, including quoting, procuring, receiving, trackingProficient in the cost to complete process and monthly forecastingCustomer Service
Ability to have fierce conversations with customers and other trade partnersTake ultimate responsibility for submittalsAssist with submittal creation and procurement of materialMake certain purchase orders are written and that the project is current on changing orders to the purchase ordersCoordinate and maintain relationships with all project stakeholdersEnsure proper maintenance of construction documentsActively engage in any required meetingsEnsure the proper permit is obtained in the jurisdiction for the job locationUnderstand the permitting process and what the wiring methods are in different jurisdiction responsible for project closeout documentationGeneral
