Local Contract Nurse RN - Med Surg - $39 per hour

ARMStaffing is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift - 3x12-hour shifts from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a Medical Surgical unit. This includes managing patient assessments, implementing nursing interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Monitor and manage patient care, including Heparin and insulin drips. Conduct wound care and manage wound vacs. Implement respiratory support as needed, including High Flow Oxygen and BiPap. Perform EKG interpretation and respond to cardiac emergencies. Adhere to isolation precautions and clinical protocols. Provide patient education and support to adults and geriatrics. Participate in interdisciplinary support with various health services. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. Charge nurse experience preferred for night shifts. Current BLS certification is required; CPI certification is preferred. Epic experience is required. Ability to manage medications including Heparin and insulin drips. Why ARMStaffing?
