Must-Have :

Proficient with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips

Previous charge experience is preferred

Description :

This position requires three 12-hour day shifts, from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM.

Weekends and holidays are included.

There is no on-call requirement.

Registered nurses may be required to take IMCU patients if census requires.

The patient population includes cases related to cardiac issues, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedics, among others.

The healthcare team consists of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient care technicians, certified nursing assistants, and unit secretaries.

You will gain experience on a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 to 6.

Traveling nurses are expected to float to similar acuities or lower if necessary.

Required time off must be included in the submittal.

All candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the manager.
