  • Location : Chattanooga, TN 37412 – Experience the vibrant city life, scenic riverfront, and outdoor adventures in the heart of Tennessee healthcare.\n
  • Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract\n
  • Start Date : August 27, 2025\n
  • End Date : November 26, 2025\n
  • Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990 - $2130\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license (Tennessee or compact state)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience\n
  • At least 1 completed travel nurse assignment preferred\n
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring\n
  • Experience with Meditech and Centricity electronic health records preferred\n
  • Ability to wear required uniform : solid black, grey, or pink scrubs (no patterns)\n

    • \n\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients\n
  • Perform cervical exams, IUPC and FSE placement, IV starts, and lab draws\n
  • Circulate and recover cesarean sections (primarily with spinal anesthesia)\n
  • Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members\n
  • Utilize advanced L&D tools and techniques, including Jada, fetal pillow, Cook's catheters, and nitrous oxide therapy\n
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures\n
  • Float to Mother Baby unit as needed (infrequent)\n
