Requirements
Must be enrolled in an accredited Civil or other engineering programs for the .Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program for the Graduate Engineer position.Plans to pursue E.I.T. certification and proof of passed FE exam for Graduate Engineer.Entry Level experience in civil engineering design and plan production in Civil 3D for Graduate Engineer.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Motivated to learn in a dynamic environment with short deadlines.Responsibilities
Provide administrative and engineering support to multiple employees within the organization.Support CobbFendley Project Managers and Engineers with engineering design tasks for various projects.Perform civil engineering design, design calculations, analysis, and field visits.Prepare civil drawing packages, specifications, bill of materials, and estimates according to project scope and schedule.Assist Project Manager in providing project engineering design and task management for assigned projects.Work with Project Manager to identify and resolve conflicts, ensuring compliance with client policies and applicable codes.Utilize multiple software solutions to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of services.Travel to project sites and other CobbFendley offices as required.Nice-to-haves

Most work is performed in a professional office environment. Some trips to client offices and outdoor environments for observations will be required.

Potential exposure to high noise levels and various allergens, including poison ivy, sumac, dust, pollen, and cedar. Potential exposure to wildlife hazards such as animals, insects, and plants.Safety and Equipment Use Regular use of PPE is required, along with use of hand and power tools.Driving and Vehicle Use May involve driving large pick-up trucks with attached trailers, potentially operating watercraft, and for extended periods of time.Expected Work Hours
This is a full-time position, generally 40 hours per week, however, hours may fluctuate depending on department needs including the use of overtime.CobbFendley's standard operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM CST. Generally, employees receive a 1-hour unpaid lunch break free of duty. Hours may differ based on project workload, primarily for field staff.Work Location Flexibility
