About the job
Purpose / Scope
The Field Superintendent will apply their knowledge and skills to ensure the successful installation of products to meet customers’ expectations, including the delivery, erection and completion of wall panels in a safe work environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, and plan all field operations to ensure the profitable completion of projects
- Ensure a safe working environment on jobsites for employees by upholding the high safety standards set by and meeting OSHA requirements
- Provide exemplary service to internal and external customers, including, but not limited to the following :
- Internal : Vice President, Manager of Field Operations, Project Managers and Field Employees
- External : Customers, Vendors
- Manage field assets to ensure first time quality on projects, while providing on-time delivery, as well as timely completion of the project
- Supervise and lead the field resources used to start and complete projects within budget
- Supervise, train and manage field employees, ensuring a highly skilled and motivated work force
- Hold employees accountable to meet or exceed expectations. Positions reporting to the Field Superintendent include : Field Erection Foreperson, Patching Foreperson, Welding Foreperson, Caulking Foreperson, and Auger Foreperson, and their direct reports, Bricklayers and Laborers
