Key Responsibilities – Waterjet Operator
- Set up, program, and operate CNC waterjet cutting machines for metals, plastics, composites, and stone.
- Interpret blueprints, CAD files, and work orders to ensure part accuracy.
- Adjust, maintain, and troubleshoot waterjet equipment to ensure consistent operation.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality assurance.
- Load / unload raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Accurately record production data, job notes, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality teams to meet specifications and deadlines.
Requirements – Waterjet Operator
High school diploma or GED required.1–3 years of CNC or waterjet cutting machine experience (training provided for motivated candidates).Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.Preferred Qualifications – Waterjet Operator
Experience with CAD / CAM software and CNC programming.Knowledge of cutting various materials and techniques.Forklift or material handling experience.What We Offer – Waterjet Operator
