This position offers weekly compensation up to $2,304, based on experience. Job Description

As a Respiratory Therapist in this role, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and manage patients with various respiratory conditions, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Administer respiratory therapy treatments such as oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and aerosolized medications

Perform diagnostic tests including pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and chest physiotherapy

Educate patients and families on respiratory care practices, disease management, and home care

Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans

Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary

Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when required

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and treatment plans

Ensure all respiratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated

Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures

Education & Certification Requirements

Associate’s degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution

Current Respiratory Therapy (RRT or CRT) certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required

Montana state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist

1+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting

Skills & Qualifications

Expertise in administering respiratory therapy treatments and performing diagnostic procedures

Strong understanding of respiratory diseases, therapies, and patient care techniques

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm during emergencies

Excellent communication and patient education skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
