The Manager of Pharmacy professional responsible for the supervision of pharmacy operations including the activities of pharmacists and supportive personnel. Supports and promotes the vision, mission, and strategic plans of Methodist Health System.
Your Job Requirements :
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
- 2 years of Hospital Pharmacy experienced desired.
- Licensed as a registered pharmacist by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- Certified as a pharmacist preceptor by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- Prefer 3 to 5 years in a healthcare setting
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to provide vision and leadership
- Ability to plan and schedule the work of others

Schedule, time off requests, and schedule change requests are processed in a timely manner.Completes and communicates annual and ongoing evaluations to pharmacists and other personnel.Supervises and supports pharmacy personnel. Provides assistance to pharmacists and supportive personnel with problems related to patient care and their assigned duties.Assumes duties of a staff pharmacist whenever necessaryAssumes responsibility for the pharmacy in the absence of the directorOversees drug inventory control. Ensures proper handling, storage, and security of medications.Establishes appropriate control, tracking, and auditing of narcoticsMethodist Southlake Medical Center is a 54-bed, acute care hospital serving Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, and northeastern Tarrant County in North Texas.
