Utilization Management Technician

A company is looking for a Utilization Management Technician.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate, generate, and track correspondence, faxes, and authorizations for review functions

Interact with facilities, vendors, providers, and staff to facilitate information receipt for prompt review

Ensure compliance with compensation plans that do not create barriers to care in medical management determinations

Required Qualifications

High School / GED required; Associate's Degree or equivalent education & experience preferred

Minimum of 1 year of general office and / or customer service experience preferred

Work experience in utilization management / review in a healthcare / MCO setting preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
