We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Locksmith Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both traditional lock mechanisms and modern electronic security systems. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their security needs are met with precision and professionalism.

This is a key role where you will be an integral part of our mobile team, handling a wide range of residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith services. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who is passionate about their craft and dedicated to delivering a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Install, repair, and maintain a wide variety of locks and locking mechanisms for residential, commercial, and automotive clients.

Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and effectively.

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical locking systems and access control systems, utilizing tools like an ohmmeter to ensure proper functionality.

Provide expert advice to clients on advanced security measures and recommend appropriate solutions.

Perform key cutting, duplication, and rekeying services, including the programming of transponder and high-security automotive keys.

Maintain accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and payments.

Manage and maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and inventory.

Act as a leader on the team, potentially mentoring new hires and ensuring high standards of work.

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a professional locksmith (minimum of 2-3 years).

A valid California Locksmith License is required.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of various lock types, security hardware, and key systems.

Experience with electronic access control systems is highly desirable.

Excellent problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
