The Assistant Manager of Dining Services role at University at Buffalo Campus Dining & Shops is a full-time, non-exempt position that provides support and assistance to the unit manager in areas such as scheduling, time and attendance tracking, supervision, coaching, and training of unit employees.
Position Summary
This position requires the manager to be hands-on and on the floor during peak times, supporting employees and providing excellent customer service. The Assistant Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining all operational procedures and programs related to dining operations.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a schedule based on customer needs and business requirements. The position primarily works a set schedule during the school year, including one weekend day, and may include weekends, evenings, and late-night hours.
