Infusion Registered Nurse

Infusion for Health is a referral-based infusion center that services all providers in multiple locations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Colorado, and Missouri. Our center is unique and offers individual comfortable private rooms for our patients. Our mission is to provide exceptional service in the administration of infusion therapy in a comfortable, patient-focused environment by providing exemplary professional clinical care.\n\nOur company is continuing to grow and we're looking for Per Diem Infusion RNs to support our centers throughout Arizona. This is an ongoing, as-needed role. You will be contacted when a center has a need for additional PRNs to provide coverage. Below is a list of our centers : \n

• Mesa\n\nEducation and Qualifications Required for Consideration\n
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing\n
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)\n
• 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar level of patient care. Prefer recent infusion experience but will train the right candidate\n
• Current and valid RN License\n
• Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS / PALS certificate\n\nSkills / Abilities\n
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience\n
• Computer literate; proficient in Word, Excels, and Outlook\n
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with team members and provider offices\n\nEssential Functions\n
• Greets patients and escorts them to the infusion room\n
• Provide patient education about their treatment and answer questions about adverse reactions\n
• Provide general nursing care to patients; administers prescribed medications, per drug protocol for adults and children.\n
• Establish IV access and also access central lines\n
• Observe, record and reports patient's condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to the Clinical Director and records in electronic medical record (EMR)\n
• Provides accurate documentation in the patient's EMR\n
• Provide close monitoring of patients in infusion rooms\n
• Maintains timely flow of patient care and documentation\n
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively\n
• Replenishes IV carts and cleans infusion rooms\n
• Answer incoming telephone calls as needed\n
• Follows all OSHA guidelines to minimize exposure to blood borne pathogens\n
• Follow HIPAA regulations and practices with a high level of integrity and honesty by maintaining patient confidentiality\n
• Follows established policies, procedures, objectives and performance improvements.\n\nThe hourly pay range for this role is expected to be between $45-$55. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
