The Maintenance Controls Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment and systems. This position involves a combination of technical expertise in control systems, electrical engineering, and maintenance practices within a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Control Systems Management : Maintain control systems for various manufacturing equipment and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and other automation components. Optimize control strategies to enhance equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Electrical Systems Maintenance : Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, and other electrical components. Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and execute maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Safety and Compliance : Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Perform regular safety inspections and participate in safety training programs. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to electrical and control systems.
• Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve productivity and reduce costs. Implement upgrades and modifications to existing control systems to enhance performance and reliability.
• Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and troubleshooting efforts. Document control system configurations, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation as needed.
• Flexibility : Willingness to work non-standard hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation And Benefits

Pay Range : $47-$50 per hour DOQ. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 (paid $2,500 at hire and $2,500 after 6 months).
