As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Government Lead in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This armed position involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals encountered. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $27.01 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday to Sunday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or behaviors.
  • Observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity in and around the premises.
  • Support the enforcement of rules, regulations, and / or procedures as directed by the site and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency personnel as needed in response to incidents at the location.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential threats or risks to the location and its occupants.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an active armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
