Overview
The Site Survey Technician role is responsible for performing all site surveys on upcoming projects. Site surveyors have the opportunity to partner with several teams within the company as the Site Technicians are required on all projects and provide the Design and Engineering group the required information to accurately build and permit the project plans for solar installation.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform site survey appointments as scheduled, collecting site information, taking clear photos and preparing packages for downstream teams and taking action as appropriate to keep the project pipeline moving
- Provide detailed information regarding structural and electrical systems, roof quality and measurements
- Must become Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 licensed and trained to safely perform sUAS (drone) operations in residential areas that are FAA approved for flight
- Build a positive customer experience through integrity and discussing project details and documenting or raising any concerns as appropriate
- Use software systems to record progress of various tasks in a timely manner
- Support the branch admin team with organization as it pertains to Site Survey objectives
Qualifications / How You Will Be Successful
Minimum of 1 year previous field construction experience is helpfulMust be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background checkWithin 90 days of employment, must pass the FAA Part 107 knowledge exam and acquire a Remote Pilot rating for sUAS commercial operationsDrone experience and / or remote pilot rating for sUAS commercial operations is preferredAbility to communicate with customers in a courteous and professional mannerMust be a motivated great teammate, looking to succeed with excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skillsBasic digital literacy, bonus points for previous PV design or PV Electrical experienceHow you will be Rewarded
