We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Application Sales Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role specializes in the Paper & Pulp sector and is perfect for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering solutions that drive customer success. The successful candidate will have a strong background in on-site reports, shutdown inspections, paper mills, maintenance, and Sales Support. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Application Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include :

1. Providing technical and sales support for all aspects of the business, including paper & pulp manufacturing.

2. Conducting on-site reports and shutdown inspections to ensure the smooth running of paper mills.

3. Working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

4. Assisting in the development and implementation of strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

5. Collaborating with the sales team to identify potential opportunities and develop innovative strategies to increase product sales.

6. Providing maintenance support and troubleshooting services for customers.

7. Training customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment.

8. Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

9. Keeping abreast of industry trends, competitive products, and advancements in paper and pulp manufacturing technology.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the paper & pulp or manufacturing industry.

2. Proven experience with on-site reports, shutdown inspections, paper mills, and maintenance.

3. Strong sales support skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

4. Excellent technical knowledge of paper & pulp manufacturing processes and equipment.

5. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.

7. A degree in Engineering, or a related field, is preferred.

8. Ability to travel as needed to customer sites and industry events.

9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.

10. A strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
