Title : Data Center Technician

Location - Fort Lauderdale FL

Key Responsibilities :

  • Installation and Maintenance :

Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, network equipment, and other data center hardware.

  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting :

    • Monitor the performance of data center systems, identify and resolve technical issues, and ensure optimal uptime.

  • Physical Infrastructure : Manage the physical infrastructure of the data center, including power, cooling, and cabling.
  • Security : Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access and threats.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Collaboration : Work with other IT staff, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Staying Up-to-Date : Keep abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in data center operations.

    • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Technical Skills : Strong understanding of server hardware, networking protocols, operating systems, and virtualization technologies.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving : Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Physical Dexterity : Ability to work in a data center environment, including lifting and moving equipment.
  • Communication Skills : Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
