Overview
Manager, Business Intelligence, CRM and Advertising at Carnival Corporation. We have an immediate need for a highly experienced BI Manager, CRM & Advertising to own business analysis and project management for Cunard’s Simon Data CDP; lead hands-on development of lifecycle journeys and trigger campaigns across all digital channels; regularly coordinate with our Email Service Provider teams—including Scalero for both B2C and B2B via Iterable and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) integration; coordinate regional marketing efforts for North America and Australia; manage our lifestyle marketing studio through the CDP; deploy use cases and build audience segments for email, direct mail and paid media; ensure consistency in audience segments, drive efficiency and solve complex segmentation challenges; and collaborate closely with Digital Channel Analysts and CRM Specialists—because strong analytics chops, marketing expertise and clear communication aren’t optional, they’re mission critical.
Essential Functions
- Customer Database Marketing & Data Platform Owner : Define and execute Simon Data database objectives and strategies, and guide IT on effective data models
- Oversee end-to-end data collection and integration—build and maintain ETL pipelines (Simon Data, Salesforce, Polar Online / Academy, onboard spend, unsubs) into Snowflake
- Implement complex customer segmentation and lifecycle journeys for email, direct mail and paid media
- Leverage the CDP for analytics and reporting, translating raw data into targeted marketing insights and actions
- Oversee direct mail and paid media segmentation strategies to ensure full alignment with CRM campaigns and overall marketing goals
Marketing Analysis and Reporting
Collecting, integrating and modeling data from all channels (Direct Mail Q3 / Q4, repeat cruiser RFPs, digital campaigns, etc.)Applying statistical methods and data visualization to extract actionable insights and inform future marketing strategiesMonitoring KPIs to assess campaign effectiveness and conducting competitive and trend analyses to uncover market opportunitiesStaying on top of industry trends and customer behavior shifts to adapt strategies proactivelyDesigning, optimizing and maintaining dashboards in Looker, Tableau and internal tools for real-time visibilityProducing clear, data-driven reports with concise recommendations that drive stakeholder decisionsCollaborate with regional marketing, Digital Channel Analysts and CRM Specialists to gather user stories, CDP and ESP specsDefine acceptance criteria, document functional / technical requirementsHost weekly standups and monthly enhancement prioritization meetingsLead and collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration projects such as TAConnect API, Iterable, SFMC, MSFT SNDS, and Floodlight / Web 2. This involves defining data requirements, developing data models, deploying CDP use cases, troubleshooting issues, and removing roadblocks to ensure successful, on-time deliveryAdditionally, partner with IT and data engineering to ensure the seamless flow of critical customer data across platforms and recommend improvements to BI toolsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing / Communications and / or related fieldUser experience with Jira and other project management toolsUser experience with LiveRamp or equivalent connectivity platformProficiency in BI tools such as Power BIBasic SQL skills for data governance, cataloging, and analysisUnderstanding of web tracking and AnalyticsAdvanced skills in ExcelExpertise in email marketing best practices, technologies, trends, and GDPR, CAN-SPAM lawsProven experience in A / B and multivariate test design, execution, and analysisAbility to communicate well with all levels within the organizationExcellent analytical and documentation skills with a high level of accuracyAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple projectsStrong Project Management skillsExcellent presentation creation ability.
