Global Strike Subject Matter Expert (SME)
BlueForce Inc. is seeking a Global Strike Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of HQ USAF Sponsored and Supported Wargaming. Primary location is Joint Base Andrews, MD with occasional visits to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and The Pentagon. Remote work is mission oriented.
- Travel may be required. This position is contingent upon award
- The contractor will provide support to AF / A5 / 7 wargames before, during, and after wargame execution. Support will include engagement with USAF and extra-USAF organizations in designing, planning, developing, recruiting players, facilitating execution, adjudicating game turns / moves, assessing outcomes, conducting post-game analysis, and developing wargame reports and briefing materials. When directed, participate in, support, and / or coordinate support for other USAF, sister-Service, DoD, and multinational wargame activities.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Primary facilitator on all matters relating to global strike and firesAssists in identification and recruitment of wargame participantsOrganizes and facilitates participants and cells to achieve wargame objectivesSupports the development of Air / Integrated Tasking Orders (ATO / ITO)Ensure Tasking Orders are captured in appropriate wargaming systemsSupports wargame operations as Subject Matter ExpertContributes domain and / or functional expertise to wargamingConducts open source and classified research and analysis related to the field of expertise to contribute to development and execution of wargame design, objectives, and analysis plansActs as the adjudication lead in the subject matter area when requiredSupports creation of wargaming databases related to area of expertiseContributes to data collection during wargame eventsConducts post-game analysis and drafts wargame reportsSupports development and dissemination of post-game outcomes for senior leaders and stakeholdersParticipates in non-AF Wargaming wargames if directedAssists in accomplishing staff taskings / actions as directedQualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.Shall possess a minimum of eight (8) years of experience as an Air Force operational bomber crew member.Instructor pilot and mission commander experience is required.Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Weapons officer experience is desired.
