Overview
Gannett is seeking a consumer-focused Automotive Reporter to join our national cars coverage team. This journalist will create compelling, audience-driven content that explores the past, present, and future of automobiles in the U.S.
We're looking for a car enthusiast with strong storytelling skills and a deep understanding of how to serve one or more of these key audience segments :
- Auto shoppers and buyers
- Auto owners and maintainers
- Auto enthusiasts and hobbyists
This role supports Gannett's strategic goal of growing engaged audiences through high-quality, platform-optimized automotive content. You\'ll work closely with editors and reporters across the network to deliver timely, relevant, and innovative coverage that resonates with readers on multiple platforms.
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. The role is remote, though candidates may also be based in a Gannett local market.
