About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Public Relations Trainee to support the US Press Assistant and the NY PR team. This role provides hands‑on experience in CELINE’s PR strategy, offering exposure to luxury fashion public relations. The trainee will contribute to media monitoring, sample management, logistics, and market research.

Job Responsibilities

  • Media Monitoring : Utilize PR platforms to track brand mentions and editorial credits; scan publications for relevant coverage.
  • Press Support : Assist the PR Assistant in researching industry news, compiling press overviews, and maintaining media lists.
  • Sample Management : Support sample requests, oversee the Launchmetrics platform, and maintain organization of the sample closet.
  • Shipping & Logistics : Coordinate local messenger services and arrange sample shipments.
  • Event Support : Monitor press reviews for collection shows, create Lefty campaigns, and assist with showroom events.
  • Research & Strategy : Monitor new publications and research talent for collaborations.
  • General Support : Assist with showroom production, gifting initiatives, and supply maintenance.

Profile

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes : Previous experience in press or media relations (1‑2 internships) required. Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to adapt and multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Passionate about the luxury fashion industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Launchmetrics, DMR, and Adobe Photoshop CS is a plus. Foreign language skills (French preferred). The compensation for this position is $20 hourly.
