Visiting Professor of Statistics

A company is looking for a Visiting Professor of Statistics.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and provide students with an approved syllabus that includes terminal course objectives

Organize, prepare, and regularly update all course materials utilizing appropriate technological options

Set clear expectations for the course, including publishing objectives and assignment dates, and ensure fair grading practices

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics, or a master's degree with 18+ credits in Mathematics with a Statistics emphasis

Credentials must be from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent

Subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills are required

Excellent motivational and instructional skills in a diverse environment are necessary

Ability to work collaboratively and facilitate diverse group efforts
