Overview

Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world's largest distributors of healthcare systems, medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Title : Certified Pharmacy Technician

Work Location : 260 Logistics Avenue, Jeffersonville, IN 47130

Duration : 5 months with possible extension

Work Schedule :

  • This will be an onsite role.
  • 2nd Shift || Monday : 1 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM || Tuesday – Friday : 2 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM || Every 3rd Saturday : 12 : 00 PM – 8 : 30 PM (rotational day off)
  • 9 hours per day | 45 hours per week

Must-Have Requirements :

  • Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or National Pharmacy License (mandatory)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior pharmacy experience (retail, hospital, or central fill)
  • Ability to walk, stand, and lift 20–30 lbs. throughout shift
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
  • Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing
  • Measure, count, and package medications per prescription orders
  • Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity
  • Handle large quantities of bottles and cases for restocking
  • Ensure correct labeling and usage instructions on medication containers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensing area
  • Rotate stock to prevent expired inventory
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
  • Support record-keeping and documentation of all prescription activity
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Indiana Pharmacy Technician License (required)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Ability to lift 20–30 lbs. consistently
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Basic math, reading, and writing proficiency
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to operational accuracy and patient safety
