About The Position

Job Title : EEG Technologist

Profession : Electroencephalography

Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Hours per Shift : 7.50

Experience : One (1) year of EEG Technologist experience

License : Basic Life Support (BLS)

Certifications : None required

Must-Have :

• High school diploma or its equivalent, approved by a relevant authority or recognized accrediting organization.
• One (1) year of experience as an Electroencephalograph Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting, or a satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Certificate of Completion from an accredited training program recognized by the appropriate governing body may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
• Graduation from an accredited program may also be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

Description :

Prepares patients for EEG exams.

Applies electrodes to patients' heads.

Operates and maintains appropriate equipment.

Identifies tracing and prepares records.
