We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Automotive Paint Technician Assistant to join our reconditioning or collision repair team. The Paint Technician Assistant plays a crucial role in preparing vehicles for paint, cosmetic repair, or final detailing. This includes sanding, taping, masking, and ensuring surfaces are clean and properly prepped to meet high-quality standards.
Requirements : Responsibilities :
- Sand and feather automotive surfaces for paint application
- Mask and tape vehicles accurately to protect non-painted areas
- Clean panels thoroughly to ensure surface readiness
- Apply primers, sealers, or adhesion promoters as directed
- Move vehicles in and out of prep / paint booths and staging areas
- Inspect body panels for imperfections or contamination prior to paint
- Assist painters and body technicians with repair flow
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and safety equipment
- Follow all company safety and quality standards
Qualifications :
The successful candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
