Redwire Space - Longmont, CO is the leading developer and provider of satellite mechanisms, deployable structures, and RF antennas to the global space market. The company's key products include fixed and deployable antenna systems, deployable structural and mechanical systems and supporting subsystems.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, located at our facility in Longmont, CO. In this role you will be responsible for providing DFM feedback to design engineering, aligning and / or expanding site capacity & capability, and implementing new manufacturing processes. You will be developing and implementing ground support equipment (GSE), key process development and improvement, and ensuring high quality hardware delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities

• GSE & fixture design, review, and timely release
• Write activity and project reports, develop action plans, generate build process instructions, and other documentation to support production operations
• Design optimized manufacturing processes and maintain associated documentation for training, internal protocol, and industry standard alignment
• Data capture and optimization of MES & ERP systems
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods to drive : quality improvements, cost reduction, and quality improvements
• Monitor and optimize production layout & capacity
• Generate technical reporting, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders
• Drive non-conformance issues to root cause and timely closure
• Lead manufacturing planning updates for the organization
• Model exemplary professional conduct as a representative of Redwire
• Ability to travel domestically up to 5% of the time
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

Proficient in one or more of the following CAD Software : SolidWorks, Inventor, Catia, Draftsight, AutoCAD

Desired Skills

Familiarity with design, manufacturing, and testing of RF Antenna Systems

Pay Range

$100,000 - $140,00

How We Determine What We Pay (Compensation Philosophy)

Redwire determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for our locations throughout the US. We will evaluate external equity and the cost of labor / prevailing wage index, in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant's level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee / candidate with a stronger skill set will be considered for higher pay.
