Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location : Denver Area / Thornton, CO

Schedule : Full-Time | 35+ hours / week | Monday Friday

Contract Type : Full Academic Year | ASAP 5 / 22 / 26

Student Population : Early Childhood (08 years old)

Positions Available : Multiple Needs

Licenses Required : Active Colorado DOE Certification with Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement (08)

BlazerJobs is partnering with a school district in the Denver area to hire two full-time Early Childhood Special Education Teachers for the 20252026 school year. These roles provide the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the academic, social, and developmental growth of young learners with special needs.

As an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, you will :

Deliver specially designed instruction to students ages 08 with developmental or learning challenges

Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress

Collaborate with classroom staff, families, and related service providers to support student success

Support the development of social, emotional, and academic skills in a structured classroom environment

Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training to enhance instructional strategies

What Were Looking For

We are seeking qualified professionals who :

Hold an active Colorado DOE Special Education Teacher Certification

Have an Early Childhood Special Education endorsement (08)

Possess experience teaching early childhood students with special needs (preferred but not required)

Demonstrate strong instructional, organizational, and collaborative skills

Are passionate about supporting the growth and development of young children with special needs
