The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Groton, CT is seeking a Field Engineer Associate. This role will support installation, test and maintenance of the new Navy Ballistic Missile submarines. The ideal candidate will work with crews on submarine tasks, advanced support maintenance, troubleshooting tasks and contractor tasks. The candidate will support training and familiarization of the Navigation subsystem as well as coordinate frequent communications / meetings with the customer and leadership under direction of team leads. This position will require travel and temporary duty (TDY) assignment. Assignment will include work at Electric Boat Shipyard in Groton, CT and at Barrow-in-Furness in the United Kingdom.
