Job Title : Cobol / SAS Developer

Location : Addison, TX (5 days a week onsite)

Pay Range : $80hr W2 (Cannot work Corp to Corp)

Summary :

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Cobol / SAS Developer to join their team. As a Cobol / SAS Developer, you will be part of the IT department supporting critical legacy systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using COBOL and SAS within a z / OS mainframe environment.
• Write and optimize JCL scripts for batch processing and job scheduling.
• Develop and maintain DB2 data structures, SQL queries, and data access logic to support business needs.
• Analyze and resolve production issues, including abends and performance bottlenecks, ensuring system stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and support system upgrades and migrations.
