Program Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Secret or Top Secret Cleared Program Manager to provide the government customer with actionable information, advice, opinions, alternatives, analyses, evaluations, and processes to eliminate waste, to standardize best practices, and reduce cycle times / cost of doing business to optimize acquisition support to the SSC / CG directorate. This is a hybrid / remote role based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities for Program Manager :

  • Responsible for effective and responsive integrated program management of space-related research, development, production, operations and maintenance, and lifecycle acquisition activities.
  • Ensure development, documentation, transition, and sustainment of functional databases to support organizational mission requirements and acquisition strategies is maintained.
  • Analyze and support all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process to facilitate effective administration and program management across the directorate.
  • Prepare acquisition reporting materials, including program overviews, executive summaries, milestone status updates, and assessments of overall program health.

Qualifications for Program Manager :

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent business-related discipline and 10 or more years of experience.
  • Experience with the Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution process.
  • Must have at minimum an active DoD Secret Clearance, Top Secret Clearance preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a professional bearing in all meetings, briefings and discussions with senior staff

    • Desired Skills :

  • Master's degree in business management, technical management, and / or engineering.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMI PMP).
  • 8 years' experience managing aerospace programs for DoD customers.
  • Technical and analytic understanding of Milcom & PNT satellite and ground systems

    • Compensation for Program Manager :

  • Pay Range : $140,000 - $160,000 (based on years of experience and education)
  • Benefits : Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 2+ weeks PTO and 11 Federal Holidays
