Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringEI / EIT or PE Certificate0-3 years’ experience in the civil engineering fieldStrong computer skillsExpArerience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and / or MicroStation a definite plusSelf-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environmentExcellent Communication SkillsKey Responsibilities
Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projectsAssists in the development of construction cost estimates for various projectsVarious design tasks and preparation of drawings under the direction of experienced project managers, along with construction inspection and oversightKeeps Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional servicesAssists in design components of various projectsProvides information to Project Manager or Project Engineer for incorporation into specificationsResearches design options and presents options to Project Manager or Project EngineerMay serve as onsite project representativeAdditional duties as assignedPhysical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerAbility to navigate various locations and settings of the companyOccasionally lift and / or move up to 25 poundsMust possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicleSalary Range
$62,000 to $75,000 (DOE)
