Job Overview :

We are looking for a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems for automated equipment and industrial processes. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert, mentor junior engineers, and drive complex automation projects from concept through commissioning.

You will play a key role in developing innovative solutions that meet client needs and enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, programming, and integration of industrial control systems using PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers, and safety systems.
• Architect and implement automation solutions across multiple platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi).
• Oversee electrical / control panel design, component selection, and schematic development in coordination with other electrical designers.
• Develop robust control logic and HMI interfaces for custom machinery, robotics, and integrated production lines.
• Lead the commissioning and startup of control systems on-site, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with specifications.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior controls engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project engineering teams to define system architecture and resolve cross-disciplinary challenges.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure all designs meet applicable safety and regulatory standards (e.g., UL, CE, NFPA 79).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and documentation standards.
• Interface with customers to understand technical requirements, provide guidance, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
