Role Overview
This position serves as a content developer for the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and reports directly to the Executive Director of Learning and Development. This position will continually work towards developing content for interactive, experiential training programs via multiple modalities such as face-to-face and the virtual experience.
Salary
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $47,320.00.
A Day in the Life
The essential functions of this role are :
Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content for in-person and virtual training.Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies.Implement exercises and activities that enhance the learning process and knowledge retention.Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience's training needs.Consult with key agency personnel on a variety of training matters, interpreting and reviewing training needs.May serve as agency resource for technical questions related to specified training programs. May also serve as resource for outside vendor training coordination.Revise training materials as necessary after reviewing evaluations of individual courses.This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours that may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and / or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
