Licensed Mental Health Clinician - Spanish-Speaking (LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMHC)
Location : Brooklyn, NY
Schedule : Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM)
Start Date : Immediate
Job Summary :
A leading mental health program is seeking passionate, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) clinicians to provide individual and group therapy to adults aged 60+ in Brooklyn senior centers. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for professionals who are energetic, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and social isolation.
This role offers clinical supervision hours -a valuable benefit for clinicians working toward advanced licensure.
Responsibilities :
Deliver individual and group therapy to seniors in a supportive environment
Encourage open conversation and emotional expression among clients
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and case notes
Attend weekly team meetings, clinical supervision sessions, and CEU-accredited training
Present mental health topics relevant to the senior population
Qualifications :
Must be 100% fluent in Spanish (not just conversational)
Must hold one of the following active NYS licenses : LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMHC
Experience with older adult populations strongly preferred
Must be comfortable leading group therapy sessions
Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence
Computer proficiency for documentation and communication
Preferred Experience :
Geriatrics, senior centers, rehab facilities, retirement communities, or nonprofit organizations serving older adults
Job Details :
Full-Time : 35 hours / week (Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM)
On-site only (Brooklyn, NY)
Open to part-time availability during weekdays for the right candidate
Immediate start available
