JOB SUMMARY

The Electrician – Level II is responsible for performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine support in a manufacturing environment. This hybrid apprentice role combines hands-on experience with structured training and provides a clear path to a certified Journeyman position through the New York State Registered Apprenticeship Program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure equipment availability by performing electrical maintenance and machine support tasks to minimize downtime.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to and supporting Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Maintain high-quality standards by following established procedures and demonstrating attention to detail.
• Support preventive maintenance activities to extend equipment lifespan and enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve manufacturing constraints, contributing to process improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate effectively with team members and support teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Engage in ongoing training and development to build skills and support career progression.
