Must-Have : Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance

Description :

This position involves home health visits.

Periodic office meetings are required.

The candidate must have reliable transportation.

They should possess a current driver's license and the necessary liability insurance.

The average number of patients per day is 5-6.

Contractors will be assigned 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points.

Each type of visit and activity, such as documentation and travel, has a different point value.

If the contractor faces financial difficulties due to low patient census, they can reach out to the manager to discuss floating to a nearby location for additional hours.

The types of cases include Start of Care and Follow Ups.

First-time travelers are not accepted; recent home health experience is required.

Weekend requirements vary by location.

The territory covered includes travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic.

Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.

Travelers are compensated from patient home to patient home.

The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable.

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.

Pending licenses are not accepted; candidates must have a license in hand.

Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient.

Delays and incomplete documentation that impact billing and follow-up patient care may result in a cancellation.

There are no guaranteed hours with this contract.

The contractor must achieve weekly productivity points of 30, which equates to 40 hours per week.

All overtime must be pre-approved.

If the contractor is not receiving enough patients weekly, they will have the option to float to another clinic nearby to pick up patients.

Travelers must be proficient in OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase EMR and have used them within the last six months, or complete a retraining course.
