Registered Nurse - Operating Room / Day Surgery Specialist

Summary : \n\nJoin our dedicated team as a competent Nurse specializing in the Operating Room and Day Surgery. In this role, you will practice independently while understanding the intricacies of nursing. You will deliver both routine and complex care, set long-range goals, and effectively manage various clinical situations. You will also be responsible for delegating tasks to enhance patient care management.\n\nResponsibilities : \n

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, following all aspects of the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your patients.\n
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families, adapting your approach to their individual circumstances.\n
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, while monitoring side effects and treatment effectiveness.\n
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.\n
• Identify educational needs of patients, family members, and caregivers; providing resources and guidance as necessary.\n\nJob Requirements : \n\nEducation / Skills : \n
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.\n\nExperience : \n
• Preferred : 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty.\n\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications : \n
• BLS certification is required.\n
• Must hold a valid RN License in the state of employment or compact.\n\nWork Schedule : \n\n7AM - 5PM\n\nWork Type : \n\nFull Time
